Torre Pacheco is a Spanish municipality in the Region of Murcia, in the Shire's natural Campo de Cartagena, 8 km from the beaches of Mar Menor. With more than 30,000 inhabitants, is the eleventh city of the Region of Murcia.

The municipality of Torre Pacheco is located in the agricultural region of Campo de Cartagena, although the proposed regionalization Regional Council in 1980 places it in the district of Mar Menor. The main urban center is 40 km from Murcia and 8 km from the beaches of Mar Menor.

The municipality has an extension of 189.4 km 2, corresponding to 1.67% of the total area of ​​the Region. This represents a medium-small municipal size when compared with the surface of other municipalities in the Region of Murcia.
