Murcia-Corvera Airport (RMU) keeps growing. For summer 2026, Volotea is launching two new routes from Corvera: Venice and Lille, adding more than 7,500 extra seats to the airport’s schedule. The Venice route is especially significant — it becomes the first direct connection between the Region of Murcia and Italy, giving both Italian visitors and local residents a fast, stopover-free option to reach northern Italy.

With these additions, Volotea now operates six routes from Corvera, cementing its role as one of the airport’s key carriers. The expansion follows a strong 2025, when Corvera handled 949,007 passengers, and airport officials expect seat capacity to grow by around 4% in 2026.

By summer 2026, Corvera is set to offer close to 20 destinations across seven countries — good news for Mar Menor residents and visitors, who will have more direct options for weekend trips and family visits without the drive to Alicante or Madrid.
